As 2021 is coming to an end, there are many factors that can contribute to adding pressure to our daily lives. Packed social calendars, holiday plans, work deliverables and possible health and financial concerns, make it critical to take good care to reduce unnecessary stress as we look forward to 2022.
According to an American Psychological Association survey, one-third of surveyed individuals indicated increased stress during the holidays due to factors such as lack of time, work demands, financial pressures and family gatherings.
As HR professionals and leaders, we must encourage our workforce to prepare and deflect some of the increased stress levels that occurs this time of the year into healthy behaviors and habits.
