HRCI Recognized as a Top Workplace by The Washington Post for the Second Year Running

When it comes to fostering an exceptional work environment, HRCI is leading the charge, securing its place as a TWP Washington 2025TopWorkplace by The Washington Post for the second consecutive year. This accolade is particularly meaningful as it is based solely on feedback from employees, collected through a survey conducted by Energage LLC, a technology partner specializing in employee engagement. The survey dives deep into aspects of employee experience, measuring feelings of being respected, supported, and empowered.

What Makes HRCI a Top Workplace?

The survey highlighted HRCI's organizational strengths, with notable scores in areas crucial for any thriving workplace. Employees praised the "Leaders In-The-Know," expressing confidence in senior management's understanding of organizational happenings. "Cross-Team" cooperation was also lauded, indicating strong inter-departmental collaboration. Moreover, "Supportive Managers" was a recurring theme, showcasing how managers at HRCI are deeply invested in the growth and well-being of their team members. Impressively, these areas of strength were accompanied by top marks in innovation, employee appreciation, and work-life balance, with "Leaders In-The-Know" receiving a special nod for ranking in the top 5 percent.

Dr. Amy Dufrane, CEO of HRCI, expressed her pride in achieving this award, acknowledging the crucial role of employee feedback in the recognition. “It validates our commitment to HR best practices as a category thought leader," she said. Drawing attention to the positive employee sentiments, Dufrane remarked, “Comments such as ‘...we are all treated as important members of the team,’ ‘...the camaraderie is off the charts,’ and ‘...my work makes a difference to our team, the organization, and our customers’ are deeply fulfilling.”

The Power of Employee Voices

Energage CEO, Eric Rubino, emphasized the importance of employee voice, commenting, “Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees. In today's market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard."

Ultimately, HRCI's repeated recognition as a top workplace underscores its commitment to cultivating an environment where employees feel valued and empowered. Celebrating this achievement, HRCI continues to demonstrate that fostering a supportive and collaborative culture pays dividends in every aspect of organizational life.
