HRCI CEO Amy Dufrane, Ed.D., SPHR, CAE, has been named a Stevie® Awards Finalist in the Female Innovator of the Year – Government or Non-Profit category in the 23rd annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor the achievements of women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run worldwide. The Stevie Award has been hailed as the world's premier business award.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for "crowned," the awards will be presented to finalists at a ceremony in New York City on November 16 where Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Grand winner placements will be announced.
More than 400 women and their guests from around the world are expected to attend the presentations, which will be broadcast live.
More than 1,500 entries from 56 nations and territories were submitted this year for consideration in more than 300 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year.
Dufrane's recognition reflects her leadership in advancing HRCI's work as a career partner for the human resource profession. Under her leadership, HRCI has continued to expand the ways HR professionals can build skills, demonstrate expertise, and connect with resources throughout their careers, including through new learning opportunities, professional credentials, research, and technology-enabled resources.
