How to Submit Recertification Application

All certifications are valid for three years. Recertification is required every three years to maintain your credential. There are two ways that you may recertify:

Recertifying through Continuing Education

To recertify through continuing education, all activities must be:

  • completed before the three-year anniversary of your certification cycle
  • HR-related

Recertifying by Exam

 

Getting Started - Your Online Profile

All certified HR professionals have an Online Profile in which to record recertification activities. We recommend recording your activities as you complete them. When you earn the required 60 hours, you may apply and pay online. We will not review your activities until we receive your application and payment.
