Janet’s 30 year HR career has been primarily in Alaska, working for large Alaska Native Corporations in the government contracting arena. She’s spent time on the oil fields on The North Slope of Alaska, and worked HR jobs all the way down the Alaska pipeline to the oil terminal in Valdez. Throughout her career, she has lead several Mergers & Acquisitions, negotiated union contracts and lead HR teams for employers such as CH2M Hill, Chugach Alaska, Chenega Corporation and Tatitlek Corp. In 2017 she relocated to the greater DC metro area and is currently CHRO for SOS International, a large global government contractor operating in the technology and intelligence sectors. She currently manages an international workforce of employees and contractors in locations such as: Bangkok, Irag, Afghanistan, Germany, Italy, etc. She has also been a volunteer item writer for HRCI for over 10 years and is currently serving on the HRCI Board of Directors.
