HRCI Celebrates Accreditation of All Credentials With Scholarship Giveaway

HRCI Celebrates 7

HR Certification Institute (HRCI) is celebrating a major milestone. With the recent accreditation of the Associate Professional in Human Resources™ (aPHR™) by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), all seven HRCI certifications are now recognized as meeting the rigorous NCCA standards.

"NCCA accreditation speaks volumes about HRCI and its commitment to the HR profession, says HRCI CEO Amy Schabacker Dufrane, Ed.D., SPHR, CAE. "Likewise, our seven credentials speak volumes about the HR practitioners who earn them and the organizations they serve."

The Importance of NCCA Accreditation

NCCA is an independent, non-governmental agency that accredits certifications for a variety of industries and profession. Only HRCI has HR credentials accredited by NCCA. HR professionals should know that among all online job postings, 95 percent of the listing that require or recommend that the candidate have an HR credential specify one of seven HRCI credentials, according to new data collected on behalf of HRCI.

NCCA accreditation enhances the trust in a certification – that it indeed is a symbol of being current and competent in one’s field. This is why, as so many HR professionals have told us, the earning of HRCI credentials have led to greater career opportunities. Equally important, as so many organizational leaders have told us, they put their confidence in HRCI-certified professionals to lead talent management initiatives.

That’s worth celebrating.
