Joanna Graham brings a passion for global operations management and marketing to HRCI from her more than 15 years in the education and nonprofit space.
Joanna spent nine years at the Graduate Management Admission Council, where she was responsible for North and South American marketing strategy, with a focus on military outreach, diversity initiatives and strategic partnerships. She has also been actively involved with the Diversity Advisory Group, a school advisory group dedicated to increasing recruitment and retention of African American, Hispanic American and Native American talent in graduate management programs, and the Forte Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports women seeking graduate management education.
Joanna has worked on global testing operations for GMAC developed standard operating procedures for GMAT testing operations at 600+ global test centers.
Joanna has completed executive education programs in global leadership and negotiation at Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University), The Fuqua School of Business (Duke University) and Thunderbird School of Global Management.
She holds a B.S. in language and linguistics, as well as an executive certificate in marketing and in finance, from Georgetown University.
Fun fact: Joanna is a dedicated distance runner. She ran across the country in 2014 to help raise awareness of issues that military veterans face when transitioning out of the service, and has completed more than 25 marathons and ultramarathons and two 140.6 Ironman races.
