Brian Baxter has almost 30 years of diverse, global HR experience in multiple industries, including high-tech, banking, direct sales, benefits administration and retail security. He currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Modere, based in Springville, Utah and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®).
Modere offers a category-leading portfolio of lifestyle essentials—personal care, health & wellness, and household products. Customers have been using Modere products for more than 25 years, and are now being sold in 30 countries.
Prior to joining Modere, Baxter worked for InVue, a security solutions for the top global retailers’ high theft merchandise. Baxter’s HR team supported employees in 20 different countries. He was responsible for developing and leading InVue’s human capital strategies around the world. Baxter also worked for Xango, a direct-selling company, overseeing global human resources, call center operations, corporate security, and mail services. At Intel Corporation, Baxter managed all backroom staffing operations for the Americas. Baxter led the group responsible for providing human capital research and location recommendations for Intel’s worldwide expansion initiatives in India, the Philippines, Russia, Ireland and Malaysia. Before Intel, Baxter worked for one of the largest banks in the country in Charlotte, North Carolina. During his time there, he led HR operations, which included a staff of 130 who were responsible for payroll, benefits and policy administration for more than 70,000 employees.
Baxter holds an A.A. in Liberal Arts from Long Beach City College, a B.A. in History from Brigham Young University and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Utah. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at Brigham Young University, and has been active in his communities having served as Chairman of the Board of Adjustments and as a member of the city Planning Commission for the City of Alpine, Utah.
