HRCI contracts with the Professional Examination Service (PES) to screen HRCI exam applications for eligibility, process payments, issue Authorization to Test letters, score the exams and mail score reports and certificates. PES also provides psychometric expertise on item writing, exam construction and item analysis; maintains the item banks; and provides statistical information.

Thomson Prometric delivers standardized tests for more than 300 clients, in more than 25 languages, over the Web and through a global network of test centers in 121 countries.

Thomson Prometric is the testing vendor with which HRCI contracts for exam delivery services. These services include providing the scheduling and administering and proctoring the exams.
