Kudos to our certificants who have recently taken on a new job or have received a promotion or other type of recognition for their hard work in the HR profession! This week, our hats are off to:

Lloyd Comeau, SPHR
, has been named managing director of FutureSense, Inc., which specializes in human capital workforce planning, leadership development, executive coaching, talent management, compensation, cultural change initiatives and employee relations. He has led HR departments in a variety of industries including retail/wholesale grocery chains, management services corporation, and multi-channel retail where he had responsibility for regional field and distribution center HR managers, safety, workers compensation, training and development.

Winoka Clements, PHR, is the new director of Human Resources for Wind Crest senior housing. She was previously employed as the senior Human Resources manager for the continuum of care neighborhood at Greenspring, a sister community in northern Virginia. Clements holds a Bachelors degree in Human Resources from Baker College and a Masters degree in Instructional Development & Design from Bellevue University.

Grace M. Crickette, SPHR, chief risk officer for the University California, is a new board member for RIMS, the Risk Management Society. RIMS is determined to remain the ‘go-to’ resource for all risk practitioners, helping them to better define future risks, connecting them with the latest technologies and service providers and, most importantly, delivering opportunities for the next generation of risk professionals to develop and excel within the industry.

Scott Balutowicz, SPHR, is the new director of human resources for the Cobo Center/SMG. The Cobo Center is the 19th largest convention center in the country, and SMG has provided management services to more than 220 public assembly facilities. Balutowicz comes from Lafarge North America in Southfield MI, and is a certified trainer in leadership and service for Achieve Global, a published author, featured speaker and organizer of various, national HR conferences.

Richard J. Stewart, SPHR, is the director of human resources for Global Data Systems, Inc. of Lafayette. Stewart's career has spanned more than two decades in the fields of human resources and business operations, and he has served in front line and executive level positions. He earned his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University, a master's from Auburn University and a doctorate in human capital development from The University of Southern Mississippi.
