The GPHR credential is designed for the HR professional who has HR responsibilities that cross national borders, understands the strategies of globalization versus localization of HR policies and programs and has core knowledge of the organization’s international HR activities, among other areas of expertise. If you already hold a PHR or SPHR, but practice HR in or for the state of California, you should consider California Certification. HR professionals who earn a PHR-CA or SPHR-CA have proven that they have mastered the unique skills necessary to practice in the state of California.
